We had so much fun this summer of 2013. Met up with the gang to attended our annual summer concert to see WP at Starlight under the supermoon.
The cribb clan took off to new orleans on spring break this year. Managing two boys on bourbon was a bit much but we managed to have a smashing time wandering around the south on our vacation.
Third day at the festival. Got up early and spent several hours sitting at the camp site soaking up the California rays and listening to the Bunny radio (special radio station set up for the fest.) Phish did an acoustic set at noon “Broad Daylight” and finished the weekend with a double set blowout at night wrapping up with tweezer reprise – of course. Conners and I partied it up with some camp buddies – Tim and Ryan from San Diego. Pretty amazing event, so much fun I couldn’t believe it ! Do I have to go back to reality?

Recap – We took a little prop plane over the islands for a aireal view of all the islands around the caribbean. Cribb only seating in a plane designed to sit 8. It was a little scary but love seeing everything from up above. What a great perspective.
Recap – We spent one evening on the beach for movie night. We set up shop to watch the sunset, eat some great bbq and watch a movie with a laptop, mega projector and screen tied between two palm trees. Ahhh. so nice.
Recap – Dr. Bubb through an awesome pirate party last week at his place on shipwreck point. We pulled out the Cruzan rum and dressed up in our meanest outfits to get drunk and say Arggg alot. Loads of fun this night.
Recap – we took the ferry over to St. Thomas a few times and messed around the island. Had a great cab driver to cart us around the island one day, named Desmond… Call his cell if you need a ride 340-474-0046. Spent the afternoon in Magen’s Bay on a busy but calm beach with great views. Shopped a little downtown and had some great food and drinks out and about.
Recap – We arrived to Water Island and Chris showed us over to cribb villa for the week. OMG the view! This two story is on the south bottom of the island and overlooks rock cliffs to the left, commanding view straight south to Africa, and the wrap around deck porch lets you overlook St Thomas as well. Its located on flamingo point and we were set up with a four wheel drive truck to tool around the island.
This a little wider shot of the south of the island with our house along the bottom.
This is Commander Cribb up top along the back, verifying that everything was ready for action.
This view was back over to the east along a steep cliff with amazing views.
This view was looking back at St. Thomas over to the north.
Looking back south stood a old military look out point on the edge of the point. Here are the cribb doing look out duty.
This shot was taken with a mega zoom from the deck on a turtle swiming around 40 ft below us. man the water was crystal clear.
This shot was take on night 5 with the most spactacular sunset cloud ever.
This view was back west looking at some sweet islands dotted across the horizon…we called it monkey island because we told ghost stories with the boys and we are pretty sure giant monkeys live on this island.
This was a common sight to see cruise ships sailing by at all hours of the day and night.
Here are the boys checking out the cliffs.
Wow! We made it back after a fabulous trip to St. Thomas and Water Island. Editing pictures right now but wanted to get a few teaser pictures out for this place we stayed on water island.
This is an areial shot I took of water island on our private jet tour. We stayed at flamingo point which is the last house at the bottom to the left, so beautiful.
Typical Wednesday. Cracked my first beer around noon, slapped my towel down and spend most the day floating around and soaking up the carribean sun rays.
This is a shot of us on honeymoon beach mid week for another rockstar party night and perfect sunset. This night we watched a movie on the beach with a big screen, grilled some hamburgers and drank several Carib beers.
